Next post will be all about our train rides in Vietnam.
We arrive in the morning to Nha Trang. We soon found out this is a very popular tourist destination for Russians. We even got spoken to in Russian, I think they were trying to sell us stuff or get us to eat in the restaurants. The first day we took a walk and visited Long Son Pagoda and Nha Trang Church. That evening we had dinner at the hostel and meet some fellow travellers.
Next day we wanted some time to relax so we grabbed a sunbed by a pool and took a dip. After some lunch we got a bus so we could visit the oceanographic museum, it wasn't really much of a museum more of an aquarium.

Our last train in Vietnam and made our way to Ho Chi Minh City.
The first whole day we were there we visited the War Remnants museum. This quite a graphic museum, explaining a lot about what happened in the war and what is still affecting them today as a nation. I learnt that there are still landmines all over and that these are still going off today. Also the chemical sprays the US Army did on the country is still presenting ill health and disability in families. In the evening Joaquin and I celebrated one year together and went out for a nice meal.
We took a trip to see the Cu Chi Tunnels. This was an intreresting day learning how the people in the area built a network of tunnels with ventilation to live in to survive the war. They also set traps around to capture and kill the enemy. We got a chance to go down in a tunnel which was actually made a little bigger to fit tourists down. It was so small even then and very sticky and hot. I am not sure how they managed to live down there.
